Hi friends,
As many of you know, this girl has been married to The Bouncing Souls for going on 18 years now. And I’m hopelessly devoted. And, the luckiest girl around. But, you know how it is… we’re together a long time and they just don’t bring me flowers anymore and when I talk all they hear is “meow meow meow”. And so maybe I have a wandering eye from time to time. I go to a lot of shows; it’s hard not to notice other bands. And every once in a while, I crush out majorly. And so maybe you’ve noticed that there’s this band named LUTHER on lots of our upcoming shows, including our summer “Comet” tour. (sigh, sigh, sigh, “Comet” is so good… they always know how to keep this girl starry-eyed). And perhaps you’ve seen some posts that Luther are recording their next album with our very own Pete Steinkopf here at Little Eden Studios in Asbury Park. And yeah, it’s true, we’re going to put it out on Chunksaah Records early this fall. And I’m just going to drive around all summer with a shit-eating grin on my face, watching my boys, old and new, slay shit. You should join us.

GREETING FROM THE GREAT STATE OF NJ
I was fortunate enough to visit my good friend on the Revival Tour at The Trocadero in Philly last week, and caught this birds-eye view of our very own TIM BARRY rilin’ up the crowd!
Next week, Tim Barry will cross the river to the Jersey side for his “40 Miler” RECORD RELEASE SHOW here in our very own Asbury Park! He will be joined by the players on his album for a very special evening of music and celebration.
And, while we are on the subject, the PREORDER for Tim’s “40 Miler” vinyl (mailorder color first pressing) is sold out. It’s being re-pressed already and will be available again shortly. Don’t worry though, Tim will have vinyl (artist color)and cds available at the show! The album will be available for download TUESDAY APRIL 10th (stay tuned for links) and in stores on TUESDAY MAY 8th

BOUNCING SOULS ANNOUNCE "COMET"
Chunksaah Records and Rise Records are proud to announce the co-release of the new BOUNCING SOULS album entitled “Comet”. Set to hit stores on 6/12/12, it’s the Souls 9th proper full-length album. Having been a band since 1989, the Souls gained legacy status years ago. "Comet" was produced by Bill Stevenson at the Blasting Room (Rise Against, Hot Water Music, Descendents). Arguably their best album to date, the 10 song recording is everything you’ll want and more.
